David King began his training at American Tiger Karate in 1997, starting in the Dragons Class and working his way up. He earned his Black Belt in 2000 at age 11, making him one of the youngest students to receive such a high honor. He is one of the founding members of the GOLD Leadership Team, and has been working as an instructor since early 2006.

Mr. King seems quite humble about all this, despite jokingly claiming that he is "quite handsome" and "cooler than Chuck Norris." He is currently taking classes at Cypress College, and hopes to pursue careers as a fiction writer and voice-actor. (Yes, voice-actor. He can do many different voices and accents with gusto)
