Master Steven Gregoire began training
in the martial arts in 1986 at age 12. He first trained in
Kung Fu San Soo under Dave Gonsalves in Downey, California
and then trained with Grandmaster Bill Lasiter in Rancho
Cucamonga, California where he was promoted to the rank of Master
in 1998.
Master Gregoire has continued to train extensively in other styles to help
further his knowledge and skill for the benefit of himself and his students.
He has trained in kickboxing and JKD and currently holds the rank of Purple
belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu. He trained with Ken Gabrielsons Combative
Fighting Systems in Westminster and received his blue belt there and then
continued his training with John Munoz’s United Submissions Academy
in Norco, California where he was promoted to purple belt.
In 1996 Master Gregoire opened his first school in Westminster, California
and had great success training and helping to develop many of his students
into the fine martial artists they are today. In 2000 Master Gregoire and
his family moved from Westminster to Norco, California and at that time
he turned the Westminster school over to one of his top black belts April
Hawley.
In October, 2005 Master Gregoire moved to Mountain Center, California with
his wife and son where he now trains and teaches students in both Brazilian
Jui Jitsu and Kung Fu.
